Initially established as the Dar Al Mimar Group (DMG) in 1989, Mountain View began as a development and real estate company and soon shown its superiority. In 2005, it was merged with other businesses to become the massive real estate conglomerate that is currently known as "Mountain View," which marked its 35th year in the Egyptian market in 2024.

More than two decades ago, Mountain View was established as an engineering and contracting company.
