Phase 1, totaling 50 million sqm, is managed directly by Modon. The remaining ~120 million sqm will be developed via partnerships with Egyptian, UAE, and international developers under the oversight of ADQ’s Ras El Hekma Urban Development Project Company
Projected investments are estimated at US $110 billion by 2045, with an expected contribution of ~US $25 billion annually to Egypt’s GDP and the creation of around 750,000 direct and indirect jobs
Designed to accommodate up to 2 million residents, supported by over 40 km of green corridors, positioning it as the greenest megaproject in the region
Strategically sited about 350 km northwest of Cairo, with proximity to Alexandria and Marsa Matrouh, placing over 400 million outbound tourists within a four-hour flight range
The development includes:
International airport and high-speed rail link connecting to Cairo
Cruise terminal, marina, and special economic free zone
